Robert Mrozowski
Robert Mrozowski has been passionate about visual effects since the age of 14, when he wrote a letter to George Pal, producer/director of such classics as The Time Machine and War of the Worlds. Robert continues to pay respect to those persons who were initially responsible for effects artistry, such as stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen and those who have shown extreme talent within their craft such as matte painter Albert Whitlock.
After receiving a B.A. from Pratt in advertising and film, Robert went from his first job as a production assistant to on-air graphics for NBC. From there he became a stop-motion animator, motion control operator, and tabletop director of photography for TV commercial in New York. His last technical position was held at Walt Disney Feature Animation in Burbank where he was a matte artist and digital compositor. Today, Robert is a freelance digital artist working in film and video.
